Clients, contractors, media, and members of the UAE’s design and construction community joined Compass in celebrating the company’s 4th anniversary last night. Held at the new Hotel Cartegena Hotel venue at JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai’s Business Bay, the event was held in conjunction with design industry networking group, DesignMix. Guests mingled enjoying canapes and beverages as they feted the homegrown project management company’s landmark anniversary.
Compass Co-Founder William Hitch thanked guests for their ongoing support of the expanding company. “Myself and the rest of the team at Compass Project Management are thrilled to be celebrating our fourth year of project wins and new launches. It’s been an honour to work with our clients and contractors across the Gulf, on more than 200 projects. We’re looking forward to continuing our relationships with the Middle Eastern construction and design communities in coming years,” he said.
Compass Co-Founder, Martin McLean, says that anniversary is significant as Compass Project Management enters a new stage of its brand development. “Whilst Compass quickly earned its reputation as an F&B fitout specialist, our services now span most major sectors including commercial, travel retail, residential, hospitality and industrial, in addition to covering all Saudi cities from our dedicated base in Riyadh,” he noted. “Our future plans include diverting our full focus from F&B and retail fit-outs to new build projects and major redevelopments, with a number of exciting new project wins to announced shortly.”
Since its Dubai launch in 2014, Compass has gone from strength to strength. Founded by William Hitch, Martin McLean and Luke Somerville, Compass has grown to an office of 28 in four years, moving to a larger custom office space in Dubai’s Barsha Heights, and recently opening a new office in Riyadh.
