The UAE's built environment sector runs one of the most mature Trust Index benchmarks in the Gulf, built from thousands of responses across the region's best-certified employers.  Beating that benchmark in even one category is a genuine result.  Compass Project Consulting beat it in five, in the same survey that just certified the company as a Great Place To Work in the UAE, its third country certification alongside KSA and Sri Lanka.

Camaraderie and hospitality both outscored the benchmark.  So did intimacy and justice.  Personal job satisfaction rounded out the five.  Camaraderie is the strength of relationships within a team.  Hospitality is how welcome and looked after people feel day to day.  Intimacy measures how genuinely known and supported employees feel by the people they work with, and justice covers how fairly decisions and treatment land across the business.  Personal job satisfaction is the simplest of the five, and possibly the hardest to fake: whether people feel good about their own role, day in and day out.

Underneath those five categories sit the two statements that landed a perfect 100 percent, something Great Place To Work has told Compass is rare to see once in a single survey, let alone twice. Every employee who responded said they felt welcome from the day they joined.  Every employee said the same about feeling celebrated as a team.  The overall Great Place To Work statement scored 95 percent, ahead of the UAE benchmark's 94 percent.

100% of our UAE employees said that when you join the company, you are made to feel welcome.

This result lands in a milestone year.  Compass has now been operating in the UAE for twelve years, the market where the company first put down roots in the region before it grew into KSA and Sri Lanka.  Twelve years inside one of the Gulf's most demanding built environment markets changes how a consultancy runs.  Client and project investor expectations have grown highly sophisticated over that time, shaped by mature project delivery and procurement standards that tighten with every cycle.  Beating the market's own benchmark in five categories, in year twelve, says something about how Compass has kept pace rather than settled.

For talent weighing up a move into construction consultancy, benchmark data like this carries more weight than a company's own description of its culture.  It comes from an independent, anonymous survey, measured against a live UAE-wide standard rather than Compass grading its own homework.  Certified organisations are consistently linked to stronger offer acceptance and better retention, and a result that beats the regional benchmark in five separate categories gives that link some real substance.

For clients, expect a delivery partner whose people out-score the UAE's own benchmark on camaraderie, hospitality, intimacy, justice, and personal satisfaction is a partner whose project teams are likely to stay settled, communicate well, and treat the people around them, including client teams, fairly and consistently across a build cycle.  Twelve years of operating inside this market's pressure, with culture scores still climbing above the benchmark rather than sliding under it, is the kind of consistency that shows up in delivery.

Compass has built its identity around the line "Evolving Tomorrow, Today."  A three-country Great Place To Work hat trick, a perfect 100 percent on two statements, and five categories ahead of the UAE's own benchmark put real numbers behind that line.

We're always on the hunt for incredible talent to join our team. Explore careers at Compass and see where you'd fit into the culture behind these numbers.
