Compass is delighted to have won the Fit-out Project of the Year at the Commercial Interior Design (CID) Awards 2018, recognising Flamingo Room by Tasha’s as a Fit Out Project of the Year!    As a joint nomination alongside BW Interiors, the Compass Team are delighted with the award and humbled to receive such prestigious recognition from our Industry peers.

Flamingo Room is a 200-seat venue found next to Jumeirah Al Naseem’s marine wildlife water ponds containing rehabilitated turtles and is the largest Tasha’s concept to date.  Featuring stunning interiors with an elegant colour scheme of peach and pink, the space merges inspiration from the fauna and flora of Africa whilst mixing in style details from the’20s and ’70s.  The Compass’ project scope involved design feasibility, concept development, contractor appointment and managements as well as the coordination, procurement and integration of numerous design elements, including materials sourced worldwide aligning with specialist trades brought in from South Africa, Australia and Italy.

Over the past 3 years, Compass has forged an incredible partnership with the Owner Team behind Flamingo Room by tasha’s and have delivered 6 projects thus far, with further restaurants in development.

We are immensely proud of Flamingo Room’s top-class finishing, and the optimised project delivery.  Feedback from Tasha herself is testament to the Compass Team’s dedication to ensuring an outstanding fit out, every time.
