Compass was engaged by Aer Rianta International to undertake Project & Cost Management Services for the fitout of the 5,100sqm Bahrain Duty Free at Bahrain International Airport’s new terminal.

The unique “boutique” design of the terminal creates an environment that motivates passengers to enjoy the amenities. Passengers can move through the space quickly, which leaves ample time for shopping and enjoying a meal. The ceilings are high and the design, which was inspired by the local environment of sand dunes and water is inviting.

Fashion & accessories enjoy stand-alone stores of over 50sqm each, such as Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Emporio Armani, Victoria’s Secret, Hugo Boss, Montblanc & Tumi.  Swarovski, Tous & Pandora lead an impressive jewellery area, alongside a unique sunglasses concept.

The bright and spacious new layout, provides an elevated space for luxury brands, particularly in the beauty category.  Commuters can pick up their beauty favourites from the likes of Le Labo, Frédéric Malle, Roja Parfums, Kiehl’s and La Mer.
