As humans, and global citizens, we recognize the profound impact of collective efforts toward positive change. Our obligation extends beyond driving growth and innovation in our industry; we are dedicated to acting as a catalyst for good within the communities we serve. Which is why we hot-footed, stretched, and sang out at the chance to take part in the MND24 Challenge again, an initiative led by the inspirational Sandy Sterling.
Motor Neuron Disease (MND) is a devastating condition that affects thousands of individuals worldwide. It causes progressive muscle weakness and ultimately leads to loss of mobility and communication.
MND24 is a 24-hour global movement in fighting Motor Neuron Disease. This event is not only about raising awareness and funds for MND research but also challenges participants to exceed their usual limits through a variety of activities. These range from physical exertions to unique creative projects, all in support of this vital cause.
As advocates for holistic well-being and community involvement, we enthusiastically participated in the MND24 Challenge. Our activities each spanned a 24-hour period and took place in multiple locations:
In Dubai, we turned up the heat with a hot yoga session at Dryp Studio, led by the phenomenal Jess Casa. It was a moment for our Team members to stretch beyond their limits and find serenity, enhancing both physical and mental health.
Our Abu Dhabi Team hit the high notes with a community karaoke event, proving that every voice has the power to make a difference.
Meanwhile, our Riyadh Team embraced the great outdoors with a scenic hike in the Diplomatic Quarter, connecting with nature and each other, and reinforcing our shared goals and unity.
At Compass, we believe in the power of teamwork and community. Every day, we aim to be 1% better by working closely with our communities. Together, we're committed to supporting a brighter future for those affected by Motor Neuron Disease.
