Compass has handed over Bazxar restaurant in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Construction at the 500m2 site began in February 2016. The project was handed over to client Kith and Kin on 1 June.
Compass worked with main contractor Blue Camel Design and interior designer Bishop Design to complete the food and beverage (F&B), which Kith and Kin has described as a “food-market-restaurant-grape-bar with an industrial feel fit-out”.
Commenting on the project, Luke Somerville, Compass partner and project manager for Bazxar, said: “Successfully bringing this already award-winning design into life was quite the challenge.
“With its unique design cues and finishes, multiple dining options, and a full service kitchen, Bazxar was a project with many moving parts, managed intensively by Compass in order to deliver the project on time and to the satisfaction of the client.”
Bazxar includes multiple food counters and seating options, including fine dining and a takeaway counter. Design features include a concrete wrap-up bar, lowered shop front, and full service kitchen.
The outlet is located in Gate Building #4, DIFC.
