The award was given in recognition of our work on Bustanica, the world's largest vertical hydroponic farm. This innovative project is a true marvel, and it's an honor to have played a role in its success.

At Compass, we are committed to leading the way in the field of construction project consulting, and this award is a testament to our forward-thinking approach. Our people are the driving force behind our company, and we are proud to have such a talented and dedicated team.

We would like to congratulate all the winners at the MEConstructionNews.com awards ceremony and extend our thanks to the judges and our peers for a fantastic evening. The World's Largest Vertical Farm - never attempted on this scale, globally, before - is a game-changer in the world of sustainable food security

With its innovative vertical hydroponic farming techniques, it has the potential to revolutionize the way we grow and distribute fresh produce, reducing our reliance on traditional agriculture and its associated environmental impacts

Bustanica is a vertical hydroponic farm that was developed by Emirates Flight Catering and Crop One Holdings. It is currently the world's largest vertical hydroponic farm, and it was designed to address the challenges of traditional agriculture, such as limited land availability, water scarcity, and the environmental impacts of large-scale farming.

Vertical hydroponic farming involves growing plants in stacked layers using nutrient-rich water and artificial lighting, rather than soil. This allows for the efficient use of space, water, and other resources, as well as the year-round production of fresh produce.

Compass Project Consulting played a key role in the development of Bustanica, providing expertise and support throughout the planning and construction process. This included project management, budgeting, and the coordination of various contractors and suppliers.

Overall, the development of Bustanica represents a major step forward in sustainable food production and highlights the potential of vertical hydroponic farming to address some of the challenges facing traditional agriculture. It is an exciting example of innovation and forward-thinking in the field of sustainable food security.
